Safety Professional

Essential Safety Rules

Follow these critical safety guidelines every time you use VAURIC abrasive products

Wear Protective Goggles

Always use safety glasses or face shields to protect your eyes from flying debris, sparks, and particles generated during cutting and grinding operations.

Wear Dust Respirator

Use appropriate respiratory protection to prevent inhalation of dust and harmful particles. Select respirators rated for the specific materials being worked on.

No Barehanded / Hand-Hold Operation

Never operate abrasive tools with bare hands or hold workpieces by hand. Always secure workpieces properly and use tool handles as designed.

Wear Ear Protectors

Protect your hearing with appropriate ear protection. Prolonged exposure to grinding noise can cause permanent hearing damage.

Wear Protective Gloves

Use heavy-duty work gloves to protect hands from sharp edges, heat, and vibration. Ensure gloves fit properly and do not create entanglement hazards.

No Side Grinding

Never use the side of cutting wheels for grinding operations. Use only the face of the wheel as intended. Side grinding can cause wheel breakage and serious injury.

Observe Safety Recommendations

Follow all manufacturer instructions, tool speed ratings, and workplace safety protocols. Never exceed the maximum RPM rating marked on the wheel.

No Wet Grinding

Do not use wheels with water or coolants unless specifically designed for wet operation. Moisture can weaken the bonding agent and cause wheel failure.
